Hello!

I am Laura Cuello. I was born in 1978 and broke my teeth in 1986.

I graduated in Audiovisual Communication in 2001, founded a production company (Terratrèmol Films) in 2003 and graduated in Photography in 2005. In 2006 I moved to Vancouver and there I made my first animated short film: S. Hamaliuk. I didn’t know it but at that moment a journey of no return began: animation had come into my life to stay. I started my freelance career working for Bàsic Films, Uranes Films or Magnet Comunicación. From 2016 I started working in theatrical productions, combining animation and video mapping and in 2017 I started Fenómena, my animated videocollage project that I’ve been developing until today hand in hand with illustrator Alba Casanova.

In 2018 I got my teeth fixed.

I have done work for clients such as À Punt Televisió, Colectivo Miss Panamá, Los Hermanos Polo, Ajuntament de València, Kill the TV, Laponia TV, Insitut Valencià de Cultura, Panic Map, Terra a la vista, Isola, Barret Films, EMT, Plataforma per la Llengua del País Valencià, SUC estudio creativo, Sex School, Ayuntamiento de Guardamar, PSPV-PSOE, Super fuerte, Sentim les llibreries and Nakamura, among others.
